Just A Little About Me
Hey there, curious soul! Before we dive into the wild ride that is "Logan's World," let me share a story that shaped my outlook on life.
Once upon a high school day, my buddy David unleashed a truth bomb disguised as a hat. It was Hat Day, a rebel's paradise where rules went out the window and hats reigned supreme. Among my collection was a quirky hat with a propeller, a relic from my grandma's style era. I hesitated, fearing ridicule, until David dropped the bomb: "Wear it, or I will!" And just like that, "spinny-hat guy" was born, a legend in his own right.
Why share this tale? Because it taught me a valuable lesson: embrace the unique, and others will embrace you. Life's a lot like that—full of surprises, challenges, and opportunities to stand out.
So, hello world, I'm Logan Davis—small-town dreamer turned marketing maverick. My journey? A rollercoaster of experiences: from preaching school detours to hands-on tile work (yep, I can lay a mean tile!), all leading to a revelation at Freed-Hardeman University where I unlocked my passion for strategic marketing.
At 97 Display, I teamed up with legends like Cory, Jen, and Cameron, crafting marketing magic and hitting goals like pros. Then, life threw its curveballs—a proposal, a wedding, and the heartbreaking loss of my father—all shaping me into who I am today.
In my downtime, I geek out on Target Internet's marketing insights and soak up wisdom from Vinh Giang's Stage Academy communication classes. They've been my anchors in stormy seas, guiding me toward excellence.
So here's the motto: "Be so good they can't ignore you." That's the spirit driving this website—a testament to my journey, my growth, and my mission to be a marketing force to reckon with.
Outside of my professional life I love being outdoors when it is warmer playing disc gold with friends, walking my two dogs Basil and Ray-Ray, and playing soccer. I did get married in early October 2023 to my amazing wife Brooke who is currently going to school to be a forensic psychologist. She was also on the track and field team and her event was javelin. We love going out and watching the Winston-Salem Carolina Thunderbirds and enjoy that time with friends or inviting them over to the house for some good old board game night!
Join me on this adventure, where laughs, lessons, and leaps of faith await. Let's make some marketing magic together!
(P.S. I know you wanted to see me with the spinney hat so this is a pic of me in the spinney hat. I would say I pulled it off pretty well at that time!)
